For model years 1936-1937, there were fewer than 3000 Cords produced. Only 141 of these were S/C (supercharged) Custom (long wheelbase, 132") Beverly (bustleback truck) Sedans.

2009

Nov. 18, 2009	Bugsby	After a real nail biter, Bugsby's engine has started and the car has been driven around town. The nail biting part involves it's oil pump, that initially failed to pump oil! Apparently it was air locked and did not self prime. Supplying oil from an external pressure tank, Lynn started the car and finally the pump "caught" and began pumping oil. Lynn adjusted the pressure down to 30-40 psi after an initial pressure of 70 psi. Yahoo!
Oct. 20, 2009	Bugsby	Bugsby's engine has returned from the machine shop. Damaged on the Nickel Age Tour (May 29-31, 2009, out of Lodi, CA), the engine was removed in June and sent to a local machine shop for repair. Lynn is looking forward to having Bugsby back on the road, soon. Yahoo!

Dale Anderson (executive director of the museum) reports to Lynn that she "started right up on the truck and was driven across the parking lot. Sounded just great. I mean like a new engine. You could hear each cylinder pop! A little paint and new upholstery and you've got a winner." Way cool!
