- Remove head and inspect valves, head gasket and cooling passages
- Replace rear and front main oil seals
- Weld broken ears on exhaust manifold
- Install hardened valve seats (justified if seats are eroded)
- Clean and detail engine
- Restore operation of vacuum fuel pump
- Restore face of oil-level gauge
- Restore engine compartment identification plaques
- Locate original Remy model 626B distributor
- Replace muffler (lower priority)
- Replace flexible exhaust pipe with rigid pipe (lower priority)
